Now fly to the hills of Uttarakhand. A helicopter flight will now connect the hilly terrains of Uttarakhand, making connectivity easier and convenient. Pawan Hans, under the UDAN scheme, has launched a helicopter service on the Dehradun-New Tehri-Srinagar-Gauchar route. With the starting of helicopter service in the sector will not only enhance the aerial connectivity between the hilly regions in Uttarakhand but will cut down the average travel time to 20-25 minutes. The service is also going to benefit the pilgrims of Chaar Dham Yatra which is one of most important pilgrimage in india

We at Your India Travel can book these services for you. Pawan Hans will be commencing the service thrice-weekly on this week, and passengers availing the helicopter service will have to pay Rs 2900 / US$ 45 per seat. The fares have been kept affordable for the common people and Viability Gap Funding (VGF) is provided to both the operator and passenger under the UDAN Scheme for low fares.

After Dehradun-New Tehri-Srinagar-Gauchar route, Pawan Hans Limited will soon operationalise two more routes i.e. connecting Dehradun to Ramnagar, Pantnagar, Nainital, Almora, Pithoragarh, and Dehradun to Mussoorie. Since the launch of UDAN in the year 2017, a total of 274 UDAN routes have been operationalised connecting 45 airports and 3 heliports.
