New travel rules in unlock 3. As we inch towards a new month, the next stage of unlocking i.e. unlock 3 is here. With the coming of unlock 3, many new rules and some more ease are expected by the government. Well, the formal announcement by the government will be made on August 1. But as previously mentioned, the government is expected to lift a few restrictions and will carry on with some restrictions.

Theaters will remain closed but it is expected to ease some travel restrictions as well. Recently, The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has shared some recommendations, and one of which is foreign travelers should now be allowed to travel to India and vice versa. The body also recommended that airports should now assist with the setting up of safe corridors simply to ease the process. The body further added that the tourism and hospitality sector should be operational and an announcement should be made by individual states on the precise opening dates of the monuments, hotels, restaurants, and other tourist spots in their particular regions or state.

New travel rules expected in unlock 3 and It has also been suggested that the authorities should ask and accept COVID negative certificate issued by the origin country. It also added that permission for hosting all kinds of conferences in hotel banquet should be allowed. However, keeping the gathering to 50 per cent of the venue capacity and all norms and measures should be followed. This will allow hotels to earn some revenue.
